Okay, look. I’ve referenced at least 3 different 80s movies in the last 215 pages, almost all of them in relation to or said directly by Jugsy or Rachel. (I know I’ve referenced Twins with Danny DeVito and the governator at least 2x. And Mad Mad: Beyond Thunderdome at least once.) Tommy is the reason. Even if he didn’t say it himself. Even if he’s never interacted with the person to reference it. Tommy is the reason.

He’s not even the kind of guy to just quote movies incessantly. He just flounders and lands on pop culture because he’s an awkward disaster of a man.
