April had to miss something eventually–the girls went to the laundromat together back in chapter 3.

Also, I’m quietly proud of myself for the friggin breadcrumbs for this one little detail that I’ve dropped over the years. Rachel talking to Douglas on the landline phone because she used all her texts talking to him in the middle of the night keeping JJ awake for most of summer; Rachel also getting pissy at JJ for being cool with other people being engaged; and JJ’s ancient flip phone.

Also, yeah yeah, this week was supposed to be junkfood week but I missed an update already this month and I kinda wanna keep the ball rolling as much as I can.
